Up Screening

Screening of industrial components can alleviate many problems associated with obsolete components in legacy equipment. This is where industrial or military standard parts are subjected to a wide range of additional testing in order to prove the reliability of the parts for flight / harsh environment use.

What is up screening?

Testing to a higher screening level. Testing to within maximum ratings. Value added testing will not improve the part but will enhance confidence
