- TYPE TESTING: Complete testing of electronic components will be carried out as per MIL, JSS standards covering the stipulated electrical as well as environmental tests.
- SCREENING: This activity is aimed at providing services for screening of electronic components, which involves carrying out electrical testing, environmental exposures and Burn-in to eliminate failures due to 'Infant Mortality' and to ensure better reliability of their products. Wherever required, we can undertake to develop screening schedules to meet the customer's requirements.
- DYNAMIC BURN-IN OF ICS: A sophisticated Dynamic Burn-in system, complete with safely devices, nine-point temperature monitoring and control is available with us. Nitrogen purging is also possible in this system. Burn-in of ICs is done as a part of screening as per MIL S 883C. The system installed can accept 36 burn-in boards at a time. We have a collection of burn-in boards from 14 pins up to 60 pins. Apart from digital ICs, discrete semiconductor devices and passive components are also screened using this facility.
- ENVIRONMENTAL TESTING: Climatic and Durability tests like Dry Heat, Cold, Humidity, Bump, Shock, Vibration, Acceleration etc are generally conducted on components/ equipments in order to assess their reliability. Components/Equipments are subjected to these conditions at severities, durations and sequences ad specified in National and International standards like IS/JSS/IEC/MIL etc. This is done as part of the above detailed tests or for design verification/ validation purposes or just to gather valuable information on suitability of an item to withstand environmental conditions or to study failure modes and mechanisms.
